We are very proud of our finalists; young designers being aware of the fact that we must act responsible and think about the future - our future and generations to come. In our book they are all winners, but because this is a competition, we will be selecting a winner.
The prizes
There are two prizes to win in the Design Challenge:
- Professional prize, awarded by the jury
- Public prize, chosen by the public.
Professional Prize
The winner will be given an international platform in the heart of the fashion industry; Italy. The winning design will be exhibited at WHITE MILANO during the September Fashion Week in Milan, Italy.
WHITE MILANO is the main trade show for collections and the leader for international brands scouting. It represents the launching pad for the success of brands and companies, as well as a reference point for most of the key multi-brand and Department Stores in the world. A fantastic opportunity for the winner!
ABOUT WHITE MILANO
Since its inception, White Milano has supported the new generations and independent brands with special projects and dedicated areas within its trade shows. Founded by Massimiliano Bizzi and Brenda Bellei in 2000, White Milano manages to combine a talent for scouting with enhancing the value of Made in Italy and the promotion of sustainability, used as a lever to trigger a real change starting from the textile supply chain and reaching all the way to the end consumer. The focus on responsible fashion, which White pioneered, is achieved above all through the WSM Fashion Reboot event, held every year in January and June.

Public prize
The winner of the public prize will be determined by public voting. The winner of the public prize will be invited for a fashion/design midweek in Amsterdam. Experience Amsterdam at its creative best!
